Faber Academy’s Writing a Novel Anthology Launch

I write dark, funny stories about how weird the world is and how often we don’t notice it.

I’ve written microfiction about fish, poems about Courtney Love, short stories about licking saints and a novel about a very unhappy woman who is trying to get better.

I am a former Hugo Burge Foundation Emerging Writer in Residence, an alumna of Faber Academy’s advanced Writing a Novel course and was longlisted by the London Library as an Emerging Writer.

An indoor workspace with a wooden desk and a large window overlooking a green landscape with trees and fields. The desk has a computer monitor, a wireless keyboard, a mouse, notebooks, a coffee mug, a water dispenser, and some papers. Blue curtains are pulled back on both sides of the window.
