Live-filming lead

I make content for museums and galleries. Whether it’s films, audio guides, podcasts or web pages, I get to the audiences they want to reach. I do this by creating strategies, leading editorial, directing production and bringing in doughnuts.

I was a digital product and project manager for arts organisations years before this, which is still pretty handy for knowing when something is a content issue or a UX issue, getting hold of data and setting up processes so everyone’s less stressed.

I’ve even been known to still configure Jira for colleagues when asked nicely and given a cup of tea.

In the center, there is a table with a camera on a tripod and some electronic equipment. A large softbox light is set up in front of the table, aimed at the bookshelves. The room has a parquet wood floor and a high ceiling with decorative molding.

Arts Content

I led the National Gallery’s content across film (YouTube and social cuts), nationalgallery.org.uk, audio guides and post-production for the podcast Stories in Colour, creating the 2-026 digital strategy.

I worked across exhibitions including the Neo-Impressionists, Zurbaran, Joseph Wright of Derby, Waldmuller, Renoir and the filming of The Triumph of Art. I also led dedicated content streams including Picture of the Month, Interesting Questions and Behind the Scenes. My content strategy for 2026 has already led to much higher views across films and better progression to basket for exhibition sales.

I was the Content Manager for Kew Gardens where I worked across exhibitions and campaigns. Some of the work I’m most proud of was on Wakehurst’s Glow Wild where I achieved the higest ever views for content on their channel.

I created the four-year digital strategy for Craigdarroch Castle in British Columbia.
